About Contract & Usage
- Can I rent for less than one month?
- Our standard plan is monthly, but we also offer short-term rentals starting from one week. Rates vary depending on the rental period.
- Do you offer corporate contracts?
- Yes, we support corporate contracts. You can rent multiple vehicles at once and pay by invoice.
- Is same-day rental possible?
- Depending on vehicle availability, same-day pick-up may be possible. Please check in advance via LINE or phone.
- How does the pick-up and return process work?
- Pick-up is available at our satellite parking locations or near your designated station. We also support key box handovers and postal key delivery for contactless transactions.
- Can multiple people drive the car?
- Yes, multiple drivers are allowed. However, each driver must submit their driver’s license and complete the registration process. Please contact us via LINE for details.
- Is there a mileage limit?
- The mileage limit is 3,000 km per 30 days.
If exceeded, an additional charge of 11 yen (tax included) per kilometer will apply.
- Is insurance applicable in case of self-inflicted accidents?
- Damage caused by self-inflicted accidents is not covered by insurance.
About Fees & Payments
- What payment methods are accepted?
- We accept credit card. Corporate clients can also pay by invoice.
- Is insurance included in the rental fee?
- All vehicles include voluntary insurance at no extra charge, so you can rent with peace of mind.
- Is gasoline included in the fee?
- Fuel costs are not included. Please return the vehicle with a full tank.
About Vehicles & Services
- Can I choose a specific car model?
- Specific car models cannot be reserved. We will offer an available vehicle from your selected class (e.g. minivan, compact, hybrid). We provide a wide range of popular vehicles.
- Are navigation systems and ETC devices included?
- All vehicles come with an ETC device as standard. Most cars are equipped with a navigation system, although some outlet vehicles may not include one. Those vehicles are available at lower rates, ideal for budget-conscious users.
- Do you provide ETC cards?
- Yes. ETC cards are available for rent at ¥200 per day (excluding tax). Please note that availability is limited, so ETC card rental is subject to availability.
- Are smoking vehicles available?
- All vehicles are non-smoking by default. Please contact us in advance if you wish to request a smoking vehicle.
- Can I use the car for long-distance trips or overnight stays?
- The mileage limit is 3,000 km per month. Additional fees apply if exceeded. Overnight stays in the car are possible, but please note that vehicles do not come equipped with power outlets or beds, so bring your own bedding or portable power supply if needed.
About Contract Extension & Termination
- Can I change the return location?
- In principle, vehicles should be returned to the pick-up location, but returns in other areas may be arranged upon request.
- How do I extend my rental period?
- Please contact us at least 7 days before your scheduled return date. Extensions are possible depending on vehicle availability. After extending for one month, daily extensions are also available.
- Can I cancel the contract early?
- Early termination is possible; however, refunds for unused days are not available if canceled for customer reasons.
If you plan long-term use, we recommend our “Monthly Renewal Plan” for flexible cancellation. After a one-month extension, daily extensions are also available, allowing flexible usage without waste.
Troubleshooting & Support
- What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?
- First, contact the police, then notify the Monthly-Go office. We will handle insurance procedures and arrange a replacement vehicle if needed.
- Who is responsible for traffic violations (e.g. parking tickets)?
- The renter is responsible for any traffic fines. Please pay promptly.
- I’m worried about car trouble. Do you offer roadside support?
- Yes. In case of a breakdown, our insurance includes 24/7 roadside assistance and towing service. Replacement cars are also available depending on the situation.
